As communities begin returning to parts of south Lebanon, families are working to rebuild their lives and restore daily routines after months of destruction and displacement.
For many families, returning home is only the first step.
Restoring essential services, repairing infrastructure, including water and electricity, and supporting livelihoods remain key concerns as communities work to recover and rebuild.
UNIFIL continues to engage with local authorities and partners to better understand communities’ needs and support efforts to address them, within its means and capabilities.
